About the Game

Domino is a classic board game played with tiles marked with dots. The game combines elements of strategy and luck, making each match unique and exciting.

This version of domino follows the classic rules familiar to players around the world. You can play against the computer, challenge a friend on the same device, or compete with real players online.

The game is suitable for both beginners and experienced players looking to test their strategic skills.

How to Play

The goal of the game is to get rid of all your tiles before your opponent by placing them on the table according to specific rules.

  • 1
Game Setup At the start of the game, all tiles are shuffled and dealt to the players. Each player receives 7 tiles. The remaining tiles form a reserve bank from which additional tiles can be drawn.
  • 2
Starting the Game The first move is made by the player who holds the tile with the highest number of points (or the double with the highest value). This tile is placed in the center of the table and becomes the starting point of the chain.
  • 3
Placing Tiles Taking turns, each player places a tile whose one half matches the number of dots on the open end of the chain on the table. The tile is connected to the matching end, extending the chain.
  • 4
Passing and Drawing If a player does not have a suitable tile to play, they must draw a tile from the bank. If the bank is empty and a move is still not possible, the player skips their turn.
  • 5
End of the Game The player who places all their tiles first wins. If none of the players can make a move and the bank is empty, the player with the lowest total pip count on their remaining tiles wins.

Tips

A few helpful tips to help you win more often and enjoy the game more.

  • 1
Watch the Open Ends Try to control which numbers are open at the ends of the chain. Place your tiles so that the values you hold in your hand remain on the open ends.
  • 2
Hold onto Doubles Doubles are the trickiest tiles, as they can only connect to one specific number. Don't rush to play them at the beginning of the game — wait for the right moment.
  • 3
Block Your Opponent If you know which tiles your opponent is missing, try to close the numbers they need at the ends of the chain. This will force them to draw from the bank or skip their turn.
  • 4
Count the Tiles Keep track of which tiles have already been placed on the table. This will help you anticipate what your opponent has and build a more effective strategy.
